At more than three quarters of a meter high, the Art Nouveau Vase takes after the French metallic model. The classical container with reed handles stands atop three -legged base. Relief lillys and two small busts of girls with long, flowing hair adorn the conservative modeled ornamentation. Along the rear, decorated with metallic lustre, leaf tendrils and flowers are attached in relief gold. These create the frame for an impressive painting on the front side. The observer looks into a secretive fairy tale scene basked in the blue-violet light of morning in which elves encircle and accompany a girl wearing a rose sash and enshrouded in mist in the safety of the banks on a pond.
