At the beginning of 2001, the Saxonian Porcelain Factory Dresden displayed two miniatures (a coffee service and a wash basin set ) that were created in 1925 exclusively for the British Royal House. Because Queen Mary collected daily objects from that time period, a representative doll house – currently displayed in Windsor Castle – was given to her to which miniature porcelain from Dresden. The height of the coffee pot is barely even three centimeters. The models, once thought to be lost, were rediscovered in 1998. Limited to 25 copies, this breakfast set decorated with typical English flowers is almost gone.
